I was honored to co-curate the exhibition “Grosse Buchstaben, Grelle Farben” at Kunsthalle Emden, Germany. The exhibition focuses on fonts and letters as the art itself. It was a novum to show graffiti art alongside contemporary positions and is a must see. At the opening on August 15th, I also took part in a panel discussion alongside Loomit and Nadine Fecht. You can visit the show until February 27th 2027! You can find works by Norbert Bisky, Monica Bonvicini, Claudia Comte, Daim, Dare, Delta, Egs, Nadine Fecht, Shilpa Gupta, L’Atlas, Via Lewandowsky, L’Outsider, Stefan Marx, Olaf Metzel, Rero, Anselm Reyle, Thomas Scheibitz, Shoe, Fiete Stolte, Christian Thoelke and Erwin Wurm. Here are some impressions for those who couldn’t make it to the opening or won’t be able to see the show in person. photos: Sigrun Strangmann
