I don’t often take on commissioned work. Somehow it doesn’t work for me since it usually leaves little space for real creativity. On the other hand, commissions are the best way to learn the spray can technique perfectly, since you will paint images you’d never paint otherwise. So it’s a good training for everyone who wants to learn. Here’s a picture of a commissioned piece I recently did in Norway on metal panels. Good training session for me since I don’t enjoy painiting realistic humans and faces and therefore would never go for that image myself.
