For the Dulwich Street Art Festival – Baroque the Streets – several artists were invited to paint murals that are based on a painting from the Dulwich Picture Gallery. In addition to those murals we also painted a house in Lordship Lane outside and inside. The wall I painted is situated in Belair Park, right next to West Dulwich station. Therefore I decided to use one of Jan van Huysum’s flower paintings as a base. For the room inside the house, I decided to use the whole space, rather than just painting the walls. Here’s a film on my short trip as well as a bunch of photos. The last shot was taken by Alex Ellison – thanks!
