Earlier this year I visited Museum Reinhard Ernst while following the invitation of Dr. Dr. med. Dagmar Führer-Sakel to come to the Congress of the German Society for Internal Medicine. The Congress used one of my paintings as their signature image.
The curent exhibition at MRE shows the large scale works of Wolfgang Hollegha. I loved the colours and energy and found out a lot more about his life, his way of painting and his inspiration. It is well worth a visit, the paintings are simply stunning! And the museum is always well worth a visit, not just for the art but also for the architecture.
The exhibition “Denk nicht, schau” is on display until October 25th 2026.
